Baalbek (English: /ˈblbɛkˈbəlbɛk/; Arabic: بَعْلَبَكّ, Syriac-Aramaic: ܒܥܠܒܟ) is a city located east of the Litani River in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, about northeast of Beirut.
